All of the stitches you see on the outside were sewn either by the original repairer or by me.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOne side carries most of the repairs. The other is plainer, with just a couple of small enhancements.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor this pillow, I wanted it to feel compact and substantial. The cover itself measures 13\" × 13\", and with the feather insert it settles into a depth of about 4\".\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI backed the vintage French workwear with new heavyweight cotton canvas for reinforcement and finished the inside edges with overlocking stitches to help prevent fraying.
