Antique Japanese Boro Katazome Tiger Pillow

Pillow made from antique Japanese indigo katazome and safflower (benibana) dyed cotton fabric. One side has an amazing and rare katazome depiction of repeating tigers. The other side features an indigo fragment with Asian characters. Patches and sashiko style embellishment added by me.

Pillow comes with cover and insert. 
- Cover alone measures 15" high x 15" wide.
- Pillow cover with 20" x 20" insert (as pictured) measures 15" high x 15" wide x approximately 6" deep. Insert has a cotton cover and 100% polyester fill.

Antique fabric is backed with heavy-weight new cotton canvas for reinforcement.

Inside pillow edges are serged with over-locking stitches for further durability.
