Pillow made from antique Japanese indigo dyed fabric. One side features an amazing tsutsugaki (resist-dyed) and rare depiction of a Baku - a Japanese supernatural being that devours nightmares. Guaranteed to provide sweet dreams!
The other side is also tsutsugaki and depicts the Baku's tail. Both sides have original patches and additional patches added by me.
Pillow with insert measures 15" wide x 15" high x 6" deep.
Cover alone measures 16" x 16".
Comes with a 20" insert with a 200-thread count cover and 65% polyester & 35% cotton fill.
Antique fabric is backed with heavy-weight cotton canvas for reinforcement.
Inside pillow edges are serged with over-locking stitches for further durability.
Invisible zipper hidden in seam for easy removal as needed.
The antique fabric has some areas of slight discoloration reflective of its age and history.
