Antique Japanese Boro Indigo Sashiko Reversible Scarf

Japanese Boro reversible indigo cotton scarf made from a very well worn, beautifully faded, antique pair of monpe pants.

Both sides feature extensive original sashiko stitching, more sashiko stitching added by me, striped fabric that shows from underneath, patches, and repairs.

Raw ends secured by 2 rows of horizontal sashiko stitching.

Pinkish staining adds to the overall distressed look.
